Acrobatic extinction
Worthless waste of time
Go and hide
You know it well
Ŷou know it well
Sink down low you don't have to try
3:58
I caught it with my eye
Why does the whispering feel so much louder
When it's dark and the doors are closed?
I shut my body off like I shut the time out
Oh
And it hurts
Oh and it flows
And it flows
Oh the vague
Whispering sounds so much louder
At 3:58
It's like the street lights don't want me
Don't want me to hear any more
I sleep with the curtains open
Hold the door
And I open it up and I want to let you inside but I can't hear
Can you hear my fear?
Can you fear?
My eyes fog up with the truth
Against you're only next door but it seems like you're in a stadium with fear
Can you hear it?
Can u hear it?
We are two different people x 14
Why does the whispering
At 358
Sound so much louder like
You've crawled up inside
And worked at how I cry
You've crawled inside
One of my favourite albums ever! Gives a lot of beautifully strong emotional vibes. I'll be listening to this masterpiece till the end of time burtalseitan
Frankly, I go for bedroom recordings. Why... well, in such a setting with (usually) limited technical resources, the only way out is real good songwriting! And Tom Milsom aka "Gemini Eye" evidently has plenty of the required talent. "Alien Home" is a fun album with great lyrics and clever, ever-surprising song ideas, demonstrating that even a most tasty meal doesn't need more than simple ingredients. More favorite tracks besides "Home": "Charlie's Birthday Song", "A Little Irony", and "West Street". Sven B. Schreiber (sbs)
