If I was a planet of my own
Where would I land?
Where would I land?
Where would I land?
Where would I...
If I was a planet of my own
Where would I land
And where would I go?
If I was a planet of my own
What would I destroy first?
What would I name the place that I call home?
A house is a home when you leave
I want to drift away
I want to drift away
I want to drift away
I want to drift away
Drift away drift away
Just cant get away
To see what's out there
If I was a planet of my own I don't know what I'd see
Where I'd be
Where I'd be
Drift away drift away
For a little while
Drift away
For a little way
Drift away
Drift away for a little while
One of my favourite albums ever! Gives a lot of beautifully strong emotional vibes. I'll be listening to this masterpiece till the end of time burtalseitan
Frankly, I go for bedroom recordings. Why... well, in such a setting with (usually) limited technical resources, the only way out is real good songwriting! And Tom Milsom aka "Gemini Eye" evidently has plenty of the required talent. "Alien Home" is a fun album with great lyrics and clever, ever-surprising song ideas, demonstrating that even a most tasty meal doesn't need more than simple ingredients. More favorite tracks besides "Home": "Charlie's Birthday Song", "A Little Irony", and "West Street". Sven B. Schreiber (sbs)
