We don't share a word
But we share a house
If taking parts is what counts
Then why does it hurt?
I'll take your arms off
You cant say goodbye
I'll never look in your eye
I don't know which one you see out of
I never see goodbyes like a real event
Because I know they'd see me again
They'd see me again
I'll take your arms off
So you cant say goodbye
I hope this works
I hope this works
I hope this works
I
I hope this works
Like you told me it would
I hope this works
Like you told me it would
Because why would you lie?
Why would you lie?
We are all going away
So why would you say
Anything else
Anything else
But you told me what would work
Now I've got four arms
Now I've got too many
And I'm saying hello
To people that I try to replace you with
One of my favourite albums ever! Gives a lot of beautifully strong emotional vibes. I'll be listening to this masterpiece till the end of time burtalseitan
Frankly, I go for bedroom recordings. Why... well, in such a setting with (usually) limited technical resources, the only way out is real good songwriting! And Tom Milsom aka "Gemini Eye" evidently has plenty of the required talent. "Alien Home" is a fun album with great lyrics and clever, ever-surprising song ideas, demonstrating that even a most tasty meal doesn't need more than simple ingredients. More favorite tracks besides "Home": "Charlie's Birthday Song", "A Little Irony", and "West Street". Sven B. Schreiber (sbs)
