He gave you everything
But the ability
To withstand
Lasers
Trust me, subtlety
He gave you everything
But the ability
To withstand
Negativity
Like lasers
And why would you even need her?
You thought she'd miss you
If you had lasers
Anyway
Why would she need need ya?
If all you do
If all you do
If all you do
If all you do
If all you do
If all you do
Is shoot lasers anyway?
And if it goes out of tune
At least we tried to say something
Wondering
When high tide came in
And wondering how long
You cant survive on one bar
Why have you become so interested
In high tide
The tide collapse
Wider than your vision can stretch
When you embrace something new
You cant imagine the breath
On their...
Why have you become
So interested
In the tide
It's new
In the tide
In the tide
It's new
He gave you everything
Except the one thing
You didn't need
A box coming coming out of your forehead
And a spine that changed the weather
Why would you need
Why would you need a laser?
Would you
Still complain that its raining
Yet somehow you control the weather
Why why why
Do you accept against?
When you have
When you have her
When you have her
When you have her
When you have her
When you have her
When you have
Anything else
The future looks bleak
Because you wanted something else
How would you even use that?
I don't even know how you think of this stuff
But she gave you it
One of my favourite albums ever! Gives a lot of beautifully strong emotional vibes. I'll be listening to this masterpiece till the end of time burtalseitan
Frankly, I go for bedroom recordings. Why... well, in such a setting with (usually) limited technical resources, the only way out is real good songwriting! And Tom Milsom aka "Gemini Eye" evidently has plenty of the required talent. "Alien Home" is a fun album with great lyrics and clever, ever-surprising song ideas, demonstrating that even a most tasty meal doesn't need more than simple ingredients. More favorite tracks besides "Home": "Charlie's Birthday Song", "A Little Irony", and "West Street". Sven B. Schreiber (sbs)
